Pixie Forest

This afternoon, my daughter and I went to Pixie Forest at Festival Mall to attend the birthday party of Louie and Mon's daughter, Ria.

We arrived at 2pm, sumabay ako kina Patit, Rej, et al. kasi may pasok si Wel. The party started at 2:30pm. They had 3 kiddy games and 1 adult game. Then it's time to eat, Shakey's catered the ocassion. After eating, they had a mini magic show. Then it's time to give the party loot and the ride-all tag for the kids.

Roel picked us up, we were suppose to use the ride-all tag but we had to buy some at the supermarket... then we went home.. sakit na ng likod ko.

May 2006, my cousin hand-me-down her daughter's "pinaglakihang" baby clothes and some toys. T'was almost 2 big balikbayan boxes. Some clothes are kept kasi di na kasya sa anak ko noon.. yung iba naman binigyan ko yung kasama namin dito at yung tita nya. I was planning pa nga to give some sa mga kakilala kong buntis or may baby pa. Buti na lang at tinamad akong "mamigay." Coz now na buntis yung pinsan ko sa 2nd baby nila, I told her that I'm very willing to give back the baby clothes she gave me then.

It was not an issue for me.. parang naghihiraman kami pero sila ang bumili. hehehe. Ang laki rin ng natipid ko, coz hindi ako bumibili ng mga damit panlabas ng anak ko. Problema ko pa rin ang storage for the clothes na malalakihan na ng anak ko. I keep it muna, baka sakaling hingin din. hehehe.

1st day, I did nothing, I just relaxed and watch tv.

2nd day, I tried to diagnose the problem of the vehicle, I cleaned the vehicle and tried to call a mechanic.

3rd day, thank God it rained.. it was a safe excuse. I called the mechanic and he'll check it on the tomorrow.

4th day, the mechanic arrived at 3pm while waiting, I did nothing.. I even let them shout coz of dismay.

5th day, the mechanic arrived at 10am. After lunch, we bought some groceries and finish the day with some cleaning.

6th day, the mechanic arrived at 9:30am.. the vehicle is now starting. Hope it'll last. After lunch, I fixed the box and arrange my stuff.

2nd Anniv

Today, is our 2nd wedding anniversary. Magma-mass lang siguro kami tonight. I just wish makapag-abroad si Roel para makapag-ipon na po for our daughter at para hindi naman kami medyo umaasa sa mga parents namin. I hope ma-isip na nya yun.

Just want to thank the Lord for the good health and continious blessings we're receiving.

British actor Daniel Radcliffe has signed up for the final two films in the seven-part Harry Potter series, his spokeswoman said on Friday.

The 17-year-old, who has just won rave reviews for his performance in Peter Shaffer's controversial play "Equus," will start filming the sixth movie based on the bestselling books by J.K. Rowling in September, she added.

Radcliffe shot to fame in 2001 when he appeared as the boy wizard in the first Harry Potter film.

The hit franchise, which continues with the fifth installment called "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" later this year, has amassed around $3.5 billion globally at the box office and turned the teenager into a multi-millionaire.

Renovation

This March, Papa will have his one month vacation, Mama and I asked him to supervise the veranda roofing. Because the usual carpenter we hire has "fast" hands and loves to do AIDS (as if doing something).

I hope the veranda Mama wants and the ones Papa sketched will have compromise especially to the financier of the project.

My problem is when our helper went home for her 1 week vacation, I might be doing all the chores without help. Naku! Hindi pwede yun!

I just hope they will help me, especially my brother 'coz Roel will report to work while Papa is supervising the project.

I hope Papa will fix the comfort room door, the bodega, the kitchen cabinet doors, etc. I hope he will be able to register the owner and to pay the property tax of our lot in Trese Martires, Cavite. I don't know if Papa has his own itenirary.

Past 2 days

Last Feb. 28, t'was Roel's rest day. After lunch, we went to the dentist to avail some free services - oralprophalaxies, and surface _______ (in short, cleaning and pasta). We used Roel's dental health card.

Then we headed home for merienda and just stayed home bum around.

About my work, I wasn't able to finish it =<. I'm frustrated!

Yesterday, I passed my new member's assignment and started the March assignment.

Now, I'm very much trying my best to finish this work. Kulang kasi ako sa dasal.

Tired!

T'was a hectic day for me..

My daughter and I woke up at around 8:30am. I started to set up her area, then had my breakfast. After eating, I fed France and had her vitamins. She took a bath then we went to Pacita to buy some groceries. I want to bring the lite ace but I'm hesitant coz I might have a problem with parking space and parking the "pawis" steering van.

After buying some groceries, we had our lunch, and slept till almost 3:30pm. I sent our helper to buy pancakes for our merienda. Before we cook the pancakes, we went first to the bicycle shop for them to repair our sidecar. They changed some part then we went home for the merienda. While our helper is cooking our merienda, I went outside to set up my daughter's swimming pool. My daughter had her milk and her and our merienda.

We went out for a stroll with the newly fixed sidecar. After about 20 minutes of strolling we went home for my daughter's swimming.

After 30 minutes of playing in the water, I bathe her and had her changed. We watched TV while waiting for the dinner food to cook. After 30 minutes, I fed my daughter her dinner then I ate. After eating, I started keeping all her stuff then changed her her pajamas.

While I'm taking a bath, he arrived from a "gimmick." After changing my clothes I sew some of our clothes while waiting for him to finish cleaning the bottles of our daughter. After 30 minutes, I put our daughter to sleep.

Hearts Day

We didn't celebrate Hearts Day.. Roel just bought a roll of cake for us and chocolates for me. The following day, Roel, Frances and I went to SM Sta. Rosa to stroll around and to buy some groceries.

We bought some cheap toys for our daughter. We found out that 1 of the toys we bought was not in good condition.. we decided to ask for a replacement. They found out that most of those same kind of toys are all broken. Roel insisted for a refund and after waiting for an hour and half (1 1/2), they gave us the money.

After waiting for the refund money, we headed to the supermarket to buy some groceries.

We had a hard time dealing with our daughter, she's so hard-headed, kanino pa magmamana - eh di sa ina! Everytime you're going to carry her.. she's crying and shouting. Her stroller has given up pa.. medyo masisira na.

Basta for me, I want Roel to work abroad.. for us to prepare our daughter's future. It'll be expensive to send child to school by then. I hope he'll consider this soon.

Here are five questions you must ask yourself if you're serious about finding and keeping a life partner.

QUESTION ..1: Do we share a common life purpose?

Why is this so important? Let me put it this way: If you're married for 20or 30 years, that's a long time to live with someone. What do you plan to do with each other all that time? Travel, eat and jog together? You need to share something deeper and more meaningful. You need a common life purpose.Two things can happen in a marriage: (1) You can grow together, or (2) you can grow apart. 50% of the people out there are growing apart. To make a marriage work, you need to know what you want out of life! Bottom line; and marry someone who wants the same thing.

QUESTION 2: Do I feel safe expressing my feelings and thoughts with this person?

This question goes to the core of the quality of your relationship. Feeling safe means you can communicate openly with this person. The basis of havinggood communication is trust - i.e. trust that I won't get "punished" ; or hurt for expressing my honest thoughts and feelings. A colleague of mine defines an abusive person as someone with whom you feel afraid to express your thoughts and feelings. Be honest with yourself on this one. Make sure you feel emotionally safe with the person you plan to marry.

QUESTION 3: Is he/she a mensch?

A mensch is someone who is a refined and sensitive person. How can you test?Here are some suggestions. Do they work on personal growth on a regular basis? Are they serious about improving themselves? A teacher of mine definesa good person as "someone who is always striving to be good and do the right ";.So ask about your Significant other What do they do with their time? Is this person materialistic? Usually a materialistic person is not someone whose top priority is character refinement. There are essentially two types of people in the world: (1) People who are dedicated to personal growth and (2) people who are dedicated to seeking comfort. Someone whose goal in life is to be comfortable will put personal comfort ahead of doing the right thing. You need to know that before walkingdown the aisle.

QUESTION 4: How does he/she treat other people?

The one most important thing that makes any relationship work is theability to give. By giving, we mean the ability to give another person pleasure. Ask: Is this someone who enjoys giving pleasure to others or are they wrapped up in themselves and self-absorbed? To measure this, think about the following: How do they treat people whom they do not have to be nice to, such as waiters, bus boys, taxi drivers, etc. . How do they treat their parents and siblings? Do theyhave gratitude and appreciation? If they don't have gratitude for the people who have given them everything; Can you do nearly as much for them? You can be sure that someone who treats others poorly, will eventually treat you poorly as well.

QUESTION 5: Is there anything I'm hoping to change about this person afterwe're married?

Too many people make the mistake of marrying someone with the intention oftrying to "improve"; them after they're married. As a colleague of mine puts it: "You can probably expect someone to change after marriage for the worse" If you cannot fully accept this person the way they are now, then you are not ready to marry them.

In conclusion, dating doesn't have to be difficult and treacherous. The key is to try leading a little more with your head and less with your heart. It pays to be as objective as possible when you are dating; to be sure to ask questions that will help you get to the key issues. Falling in love is a great feeling, but when you wake up with a ring on your finger, you don't want to find yourself in troublebecause you didn't do your homework. Another perspective. ...There are somepeople in your life that need to be loved from a distance.... It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go of or at least minimize your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not-going anywhere relationships. Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention... .Which ones lift and which ones lean? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage? Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill? When you leave certain people do you feel better or feel worse? Which ones always have drama or don't reallyunderstand, know, or appreciate you?

The more you seek quality, respect, growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you...the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the front row and who should be moved to the balcony of your life. An African proverb states, "Before you get married, keep both eyes open, and after you marry, close one eye"; Before you get involved and make a commitment to someone, don't let lust, pity, desperation, immaturity, ignorance, pressure from others or a low self-esteem make you blind to warning signs. Keep your eyes open, and don't fool yourself that you can change someone or that what you see as faults aren't really that important. Do you bring out the best in each other? Do you compliment and compromise with each other, or do you compete, compare and control? What do you bring to the relationship? Do you bring past relationships, past hurt, past mistrust, past pain?

You can't take someone to the altar to alter them. You can't make someone love you or make someone stay. If you develop self-esteem, spiritual discernment, and "a life"; you won't find yourself making someone else responsible for your happiness or responsible for your pain. Seeking status, sex, and security are the wrong reasons to be in a relationship.

Broadband

Last Sunday, na-format na pc ko... nawala na yung virus. After a few minutes of doing my work, may lumabas na pop up message saying that my pc is infected again. The CONSEQUENCE of having a broadband connection is being prone to internet viruses and spywares. Now, everytime I open my pc, I scan for spywares and viruses.

My pc is infected with virus and some spyware ek-ek. Last night, I started to back up my files coz maybe tonight Roel will reformat my pc. Need to have a good anti-virus software.

Occasion

Today is my cousin's cousin (kuya Ely)wedding day. My brother is representing us all here in Abad St. We can't attend the said wedding because Roel has a work today and the occasion is formal.. eh I have a toddler na malikot baka maghabol lang ako, masisira ang japorms ko.

I pity him

I have this nephew whom I really, really feel sorry for... for all the made up stories and lies he's been telling to - to hide all his disappointments in life. Whenever I see him, he looks like "kulang sa pansin." He always brags about his part-time modelling, his band, his talents, his gimmicks, etc. He doesn't ask for permission, he just tells you that he'll be staying at your place. And now that he knows that we have broadband connection, he might be just popped himself infront of our gate asking for favor.

Am I too slow?

I felt so left behind with my work. I felt so slow in doing it. Medyo nagkaroon kasi ng aberya kaya medyo nabawasan yung working time ko. I just hope for these following days eh hindi na pumunta yung aberya dito.. at ng matapos na ang assignment. I've been doing it for a week na eh ang kailangan lang eh 150 classified ad sites how much more sa sv assignment na...

Got to submit these by weekend for verification pa before continuing at sv's assignment.

First day

Today, is my first day at work. I'm so nervous baka mali-mali ang magawa ko especially walang magtuturo sa akin ng personal. I can't really concentrate too kasi baka malingat lang ako yung anak ko eh kung anu-ano na ang ginagawa. I'm asking for out helper's help... na habang wala syang ginagawa at nagwo-work ako, bantayan na lang muna nya ang aking anak.

Today is the day... sana po Lord, may your Holy Spirit guide and help me in my work.

What's taking it so long?

I've been waiting for almost 2 weeks for my personal website which is provided by the company I'm now connected with. My "upline" said that it won't take long and I've been making some follow ups but she isn't answering my text messages whenever I asked her the status of it. *frustrated*

I hope walang magiging problema sa work ko...

Lord, please I hope everything will be okay... I'll be starting my assignment soon. *praying*

Mall of Asia

Today, Roel drove his mom and dad to PUP, where they're working. After dropping them at the school and after eating lunch, we went to SM Mall of Asia at Roxas Blvd. At first we thought that the place was big and nakakalito, for me parang hindi naman masyadong malaki like Megamall at Ortigas. Kasi Megamall has how many floors while Mall of Asia has only 2 floors but spacious at maraming entrance-exit and stores and restaurants. It has a nice view of the Manila Bay. Anyway, I'm not writing here para i-compare and Megamall at Mall of Asia. I'm here to share na naikot na namin ang featured mall today.

We parked at the parking area and strolled. We went to SM Hypermart and bought some things for our daughter. We also bought set of books with CDs... phonics readers.

Can't tell much.. I'm kinda lazy nowadays.

Today we had our broadband connection! I'm now waiting for my own website which the company will provide so I can start working. I'm nervous because I don't have anyone to ask to while working.

May the Holy Spirit guide me while working.

Bonding

Yesterday, Roel, our daughter - France and I went biking around Phase I of our village and at Olympia 4's playground. We had our bonding moment, na bihira lang magkaroon. Usually kasi we just stay at home watch TV the whole day or nagyayaya akong mag-malling kahit walang pera. hehehe.

I hope maulit ulit ang biking namin.

Getting started..

Last Monday, I started registering to my new job. While waiting for my own website, which is being constructed by the company I joined in, I'm now trying to learn the work process. Medyo nakakalito coz binabasa ko lang ang mga instructions.. mabusisi at matrabaho ata ang pinasukan ko. hehehe. I know I'll get the hang of it kapag gamay ko na ang work.

Mukhang matatagalan pa ang check ko kasi I'm still puzzled and confused.. in God's help matutunan ko rin ito. I'll just keep on reading sa training manual my franchisee gave. Actually, I can call her naman for questions eh.

My the Lord help me as I learn the process.

Firewire

Last Wednesday when Ron and I went to Southmall to look for his shoes, I got the chance to ask computer stores if they have firewires. Luckily, there's one computer shop that has an available firewire for our videocam. I was about to buy it but Roel said he like to see it first baka mali or hindi compatible yung mabili ko.

Last Sunday, we went back Southmall to buy it. We still need to buy a PCI card for the other end, wala pa kasing USB yung end ng 4-pin firewire na kailangan namin. And right timing si Mama coz nagpapabili ng triband cellphone yung neighbor nya. May darating kasing co-teacher sina Mama, dun namin ipapadala ang mga bilin nila.

Yesterday lang kinabit ni Roel yung PCI card, so gabi ko na na-try yung wire. Thank God at gumana naman ng maayos.

Now, I'm doing all the data captured on our videocam to be converted to .wmv or.mpg then I'll burn it all in a DVD CD.

Looking for shoes

Last Wednesday, Ron and I went to Southmall to look for a shoes, his shoes. Medyo mahirap syang hanapan ng shoes. My daughter and hubby had their bonding moments. We were able to shoes at Alabang Town Center. We ate at McDo first before going to ATC.

After buying shoes, we went home right away. I miss my baby na eh. Grabe, ganun pala ang feeling kapag lagi mong kasama ang anak mo then umalis ka ng hindi sya kasama... mami-miss mo agad.

Iba na talaga kapag nanay na.

Job

Last Wednesday, I started inquiring at PLDT and TI on how to apply on their services. Yesterday, I already applied for PLDT DSL and paid my registration fee for TI habang may promo yung sasalihan ko. Mukhang walang atrasan na ito. Go for it na. I hope matutunan ko kaagad yung work process para naman bumalik na yung pinuhunan ko.

Excited na ako at the same time kabado coz baka matagalan bago ko talaga matutunan. I pray that the Holy Spirit will help me in learning this new work.

Why does your Chinese name tool keep giving me different names?
English and Chinese are two completely unrelated languages. They don't share a common linguistic or cultural history. One of the differences is in the way names are given. Chinese has a relatively small set of surnames for people and no set of common given names. Given names can be chosen from the whole language, though in practice some characters are used more often than others. What this means is that there is no standard way of translating a name from English into Chinese. Sidecar "project"

Last Friday pa tapos yung pagpaint sa bike at sidecar. I waited for my bro for 2 days para lang buuin (kesho sumakit daw ang katawan at nanghihina sa pagod) yun. Unfortunately when he tried to assemble it, di raw nya kaya at syempre gumastos na naman kami para lang ipa-assemble. Napaka-walang kwenta talaga ng utol ko, walang alam.

Thank God at natapos na yung "project" namin. We restored our old sidecar for me and my daughter's strolling. The bike and sidecar were used when my bro is about 6 years old, we used it as his school service. Imagine gaano na katagal yun pareho. My daughter needs some outside air (fresh air?) and for her to see the things around her. Exercise ko na rin ang ipasyal sya and it's cheaper than strolling around in car kahit medyo marunong na akong magdrive.

After assembling it, we started strolling right away. We went to Olympia 4's playground, it is near my tita's house and umikot sa Chrysville Phase 3. Nakakapagod at ang sakit sa puwet ng upuan. Nakakatuwa nga itsura naming mag-ina, may dala akong malaking backpack with our things (esp. my baby's stuff and milk) at coolman, with my water. Seatbelt ng anak ko ay luma kong belt, syempre for safety, hehehe.

I enjoyed strolling kahit pagod, I hope my daughter likes it too.

Beerday Party

Yesterday, we attended Patit's beerday party... sarap ng food kahit kokonti lang - pansit malabon at canton, hamroll, tacos na super dami dahil pulutan din.

Ang gugulo nila Basti at D.A., agawan ng laruan. Natulak at nahampas nga ni Basti si France eh. Neneng ko is the only girl kasi kaya she's playing alone na lang.

Umaapaw sa tacos at popcorn for pulutan. Videoke at inuman session started early para walang pa-morningan.

Minsan lang naman magpakain si Patit pag birthday nya... thanks. Wishing you happiness and good health.

Almost finished..

Yesterday, nakuha na namin yung pinagawang upuan for our sidecar. I drove the lite ace again to get the seats and it was rush hour time.. tense me pero I managed.

Today, I hope my bro will assemble everything so that by later this afternoon my daughter and I will be able to use it na for strolling. But my lazy bro is still sleeping.. lasing kasi kagabi at kauuwi lang kaninang madaling araw.

I don't like the way the bike is painted... basta gumawa si Marie, our maid, walang quality - basta-basta lang. Yung sidecar eh okay naman ang pagkakakulay.

Transpo..

Yesterday, we started restoring our old bike and its sidecar. I drove my hubby's lite ace to Pacita, pinaayos namin yung bike. Then we went home and thank God na-drive ko ng maayos yung van. After returning from Pacita saka ko lang tinext si Roel for the info. Ayaw ko namang i-secret yun. Yehey! Medyo marunong na akong magdrive... my only problem is parking the van.

Today, nagpagawa naman kami ng upuan at sandalan ng sidecar kasi nasira na yung original nya. My brother started painting them. Hopefully by Friday, magamit na naming mag-ina para magstroll. Exercise ko na rin yung stroll namin.

Syempre gusto ko namang minsang i-stroll ang aking anak kahit within the village at nearby village lang. I know that my daughter needs it... it's not enough na nandito lang kami sa bahay watching Barney and videoke or reading her fairy tale books.

I had an Easycall pager during my college days. Most of my boarding house doesn't have any phones - mama, bro, classmates, sometimes bfs(?) and friends just left a message.

I can't buy a new one pa kasi may binabayaran pa ako sa credit card ko and I want to start first sa home-based job ko para yung makukuha ko dun yun ang pangbabayad ko. At nililigawan ko pa hubby ko for it. hehehe.

Ericsson GA628 – it was my bro’s cp way back 1999... this was the 1st mobile phone I ever used. The simcard costs P1500+ then.

Siemens C25 – It’s my 1st mobile phone, mama bought this for me as her graduation gift.

Nokia 8210 – It’s a gift from Roel (my hubby), we were boyfriend-girlfriend then when he bought this for me.

Nokia 6150 – I bought this mobile phone for my globe #. It’s a reconditioned phone.

Nokia 3310 – I borrowed from my aunt, she has a new one from office, but my bro is using it.

Soon, we'll have digicam na, again courtesy of Mama.

Mahirap mag-keep up sa technology... 1st is it's expensive and mabilis ang growth ng technology, naluluma agad ang binili mo after a few months.

Last Jan.1, ate Ivy called us to go with them because they're having reunion at kuya Ed's side. Frances received 3 gifts: a doll, Hello Kitty food utensil set and a P160 bucks.Not bad for a pahabol. I also received some gifts from kuya Ed's ates.

DCPI Memoirs: Summer Outing

Summer Outing was at Dioko Resort and Butterfly Farm at San Pablo, Laguna. The administration divided all the employees into 2 groups. The company has 500+ employees then. Most of the office staff are in 1st group. We had games and lots of food. We did stroll around the resort and gathered these images:

We had games like, Anatomy 101 and Pinoy Henyo. Eventhough kokonti kami, I can say we had fun. As one of the coordinators, ang hirap maghanap at magtawag ng batchmates. Yung iba kasi naghihintayan ng barkada na pupunta. As for me, wala nga yung mga close friends ko but still pumunta ako ng reunion. I just kept myself busy tidying the tables, table hopping (lahat medyo kinausap ko, hehehe) and helping Tinay with the program, etc.

Pagdating ko palang inaasar na ako ni Romeo kay Allan.. sayang lang at di pumunta si Daph (said yes) kundi lagot sya sa akin.. takot yun kay Daph eh. Even Suzanne didn't attend, but she said yes. I went home 4am na.. syempre spent sometime with my batchmates. Drank 1 bottle of SanMigLite.
