yesterday, we watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie... i've been waiting for this. thank God, Mama's here to look after my daughter. we bought guaranteed seats at ATC... the 4:30pm screening was almost full... so we decided to take the 5:30pm screening.

i've been re-arranging my daughter's play area... naka-ilang rearrange na...







whenever roel's sched is graveyard syempre tulog sya sa umaga, i have to take out our DVD player for my daughter - for her to watch Barney... using the TV at the sala... pero kapag gising na ang aking pasaway na utol... hindi na kami makapanood. good thing is we still have our old TV set, so yun ang ginagamit naming mag-ina pang DVD ng anak ko... yun nga lang ang gastos namin sa kuryente... huhuhu. spoiled kasi ata sa akin ang anak ko. =>

i think... tama naman siguro naging desisyon ko na alagaan ang anak ko... kahit tumataba ako (tabain talaga ang lola eh! huhuhu). kasi for me, i think, it's time for my parents to enjoy naman... kung gusto pa rin ba nilang magwork or just to enjoy. though there are times na nahihingan ko sila ng datung kapag nasho-short kami. *wink*

sabi nga ng mga tao sa paligid ko magwork na raw ako... oo, gusto ko... syempre gusto kong tulungan ang asawa ko... pero wala akong mapag-iiwanan ng anak ko... yung marunong. may katulong kami pero hindi nya kayang mag"multi-tasking," mabagal pang kumilos... buti sana kung ganun-ganun lang din magpalit at maghanap ng katulong. kung magdadagdag naman ako ng yaya lang, grabe, sweldo ko pang sahod din. if i could only find a part time job or kung san pwede ako maki-sosho. and iba rin kasi kung nararanasan mong mag-alaga first hand... nakikilala mo ang anak mo at iba ang feeling... though minsan nabo-bore ako. magiging busy ako siguro kapag nag-aaral na ineng ko.

as we arrived at Festival Mall, we rented a stroller for our daughter kasi sira na po yung hand-me-down stroller nya... imagine 9 years na yun and my daughter is the 3rd kid na gumamit nun.

this is the rented stroller... kesa bumili kami ng bago eh malaki na neneng ko... pang malling lang naman

then went at nokia at the 4th floor... thank God, there's an available 6288 unit... after "inspecting" it... we paid for it na and headed for Ace Hardware. we bought rack for our rest room... then we had lunch at Kenny Rogers... parang hindi na ganun kasarap kumain dun.

after the ride, we "surrendered" our rented stroller then went home... we're tired of walking na rin...hehehe.

last week, my hubby lost his mobile phone... its his phone for 4 years... yes, ganyan kami katagal mag-upgrade ng phone... the lost unit was nokia 6510:
today, we bought this unit as a "replacement" for the lost one... it's nokia 6288... actually ako ang gagamit kasi baka po mawala coz of his work... he'll use my nokia 3120, from his cousin - pareng arni.

last week our carpenter (suki kahit tinataga ata kami sa presyo) continued the unfinished project dito sa bahay, like:

putting tiles on the veranda
changing tiles of our kitchen
painting the veranda and inside the house
- pati bakod sana pero depende daw sa budget (20 yrs. na yung kulay, kaya kailangan na)
changing kitchen cabinets, sink
adding grills sa gate and bakod
nagpagawa ng gate for the veranda
doing the moldura, as per my papa (design daw yun)

oh di ba ang dami pa... hopefully after this eh... pahinga na talaga kami at magagamit na talaga ang veranda... where i'm planning na maging "extension" of the play area of my daughter. hehehe

yesterday we went to Southmall to buy "pasalubong" for my daughter from Grammy. we bought this at Toy Kingdom - i've been asking for the laptop from Mama, and the ball eh hindi na raw mabitiwan ng bata buti na lang at mura lang so the lola bought it na rin.









and there's this incident where my daughter grabbed this from a 1-yr old baby na nag-birthday sa Shakey's. naglalakad kami ng masalubong ang bata and she grabbed it from him. nagulat ang mommy ng bata, i said "sorry," and returned the grabbed balloon.. ang nasabi na lang ng mommy eh, "it's ok, bigay mo na lang." ang loko talaga ng baby ko!

at marami pa po kaming inikot... we're tired... we just grabbed the chance na walang pasok si roel para may magdrive ng van kasi hindi pa ako masyadong marunong sa expressway.

our last summer outing

yesterday, my mom-in-law invited us to come along with them.. it's their department outing. we went to their "suki" resort at pansol. my daughter and i just swam and swam in the water. after eating dinner (overnight swimming po eh) and eating breakfast.. babad na kami sa tubig. my daughter enjoys the water so much... thank God at hindi sya takot unlike me when i was younger (medyo hanggang ngayon pa rin ata, hehehe).

ba't ganito kuha namin sa digicam... para kaming mumu.. wala na ngang flash ito eh..

just watched spiderman 3, i like the movie except for the scene where the "infected" peter parker danced inside a jazz bar where mj is working. baduy at nakakatawa! i don't like peter being the "black spider."





i was sad that after harry osborne realized how his dad died.. after helping spidey defend mj.. he died because of the "black spider".

i was wondering, where will the sandman go after asking for peter's forgiveness. will he still be a villain in the city?

just wanna say "Thank You" to my cousins and to their kids for handing these down to my France - some of their baby stuff (like comforters, pillows, plates, etc.), clothes (like pjs, skirts, blouses, etc.) - at least till age 3 or 4 hindi muna kami bibili ng mga damit, kiddie toys and books.

bored

after been busy "supervising" the veranda project and cleaning the filth of the project, i'm back to being idle again. i stopped doing the job i used to have... wasn't able to meet the quota.

keeping me busy if this computer and my daughter... which is kinda boring. mayordoma ako dito sa bahay so thank God their's someone who's helping me.

while being bored, i'm trying to look for jobs - home based and nearby offices. i think i want to go back working... for my own growth too.

thanks to my hubby, roel, for taking us to festival mall yesterday. actually, we just meet him there at 12... we left here 10am, we stayed at the Joshua's playarea... it's France's 2nd time there and it's my 2nd time to forget to bring our cam. she enjoyed sliding on the slide and playing at the pool of balls. we ate lunch at Chowking then had our grocery after we went home.

walang masyadong activity ang aking life lately. *huhuhu*

now, that i am also a mother.. i now realize everything you did to me - you being strict and protective. i also thank you that because of being strong i was able to finish college and marry at the "right" age. we may not have the perfect mother-daughter relationship as i grow.. i now really appreciate everything you did. i pray i will be as strong as you are esp. when my baby is in her teenage years.. remembering those days, we fight a lot.

rainy days

last april 27,2007

that day, we had a hectic sched... in the morning, we had deliveries for the materials needed in doing the veranda. in the afternoon, we prepared their merienda and talked about some things about the project. before the "workers," left we made sure that the job were properly done. while, waiting for them to leave, i prepared our swimming things.. the serrano swimming at pansol. we ate early and left the house at 7:30pm. upon reaching the place, we just ate a little then prepared to get wet.

we're almost through cleaning the house.. we still have some minor cleaning and rearranging. we're waiting for the roof to be delivered so that it'll be installed right away before the rainy season comes. i'm also waiting for our window screen to be installed. the only problem remaining is the screen door.

got lots of work to do pa.. napapagod na nga ako eh. like yesterday, our helper and i washed all the curtains, sofa cover and blanket na pinangcover namin sa gamit dahil sa alikabok. kahit machine washed yun.. nakakapagod kayang magbanlaw at magsampay sa dami, sobra! ang sakit nga ng likod ko after doing the laundry.. buti na lang at natapos namin ng umaga lang. after lunch, i went out to buy milk for my daughter. when i got home, nagising na anak ko... huhuhu, hindi man lang ako nakapahinga at nakahiga.
